We are a non-profit Palm Beach County charter school educating children under the autism spectrum disorder. The Learning Center accommodates children ages 3 through 14. Our goal for every student is to maximize their potential using evidence based practices. We are committed to providing a quality education to all our students as well as providing support to our parents.
We currently serve over 100 students, with a maximum student-teacher ratio of 3:1. All of our teachers are certified in Exceptional Student Education (ESE). We have full-time speech and language pathologists, SLP assistants, full-time occupational therapists, BCBA/SLPs, and behavioral assistants on staff.
The Learning Center has received several grants from local and national organizations and foundations. We believe that it is very important to provide the best tools, staff, and environment for our students. This puts our operating costs over and above what the School District allocates to our school. We offset this through vigorous grant writing, fundraising, and support from community members and businesses.
